Since our founding, we have contributed to prosperous and comfortable living through various industries, engaging in the development, manufacture and sale of paints. In the area of environmental response in particular, we were one of the first to undertake development of "environment-friendly paints" like water-borne, solvent-free and powdered paints. In the future, we hope to contribute to reducing overall environmental impact, not only that of our products but also that of our plants, including energy consumption and CO2 reduction.
The Shinto Paint Group is also expanding our business into Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam and other countries as our customers set up operations overseas. Demand in these regions continues to increase at a higher rate than in Japan, so in the future, we plan to focus on further business development led by the local subsidiaries we have currently established, accurately identifying local needs.
To achieve this management objective, we will always keep in mind our Corporate Philosophy, which includes the commitment to being a company that "places emphasis on steadiness and credibility and continues to be a company trusted by customers," as we go about our activities. Moreover, considering human resources a valuable asset, we will, of course, focus on education while also thoroughly instilling in each employee the top priorities of legal compliance and safe working procedures to earn society’s trust.
